Disassemble and Prep

Depending on the extent of the work required, components are removed from the tractor.  For painting, anything that cannot be completely painted in place is removed and painted separately.  In addition, anything that is blocking access to another component must be removed.  We don’t like to paint rubber hoses, clamps, etc. so those are generally removed to prepare for sand blasting. It is almost just as easy for us to dismount and re-mount tires as it is to mask off the rubber for blasting and painting, so they are almost always dismounted. Sand blasting and painting the inside of the rims also enhances the overall quality (and longevity) of the project.
